This week our students were learning through interesting games in the smart board.They learned more and review the types of animals.They were having fun while participating in the smart board and they reviewed the characteristics of the types of animals.Good work kids, continue working like this!

LEARNING ABOUT ANIMALS INTELLIGENCE

This week our grade 3 students were investigating about different abilities of animals.They had fun when learning how amazing and surprising the intelligence of animals is.They were very interested and learned a lot.They brought beautiful pictures of one animal they selected for their investigation activity and used it to make their posters.They put on practice their great creativity and imagination.VERY GOOD WORK my dear STUDENTS!!I am proud of you :) After the pictures you will see the video about intelligent farm animals you saw in class.Enjoy it!

En el área de Personal Social, los niños han escrito noticias de información, acerca de las instituciones que velan por lo derechos del niño, niña y adolescente.
Ellos han investigado acerca de estas instituciones y lo que dicen en sus noticias, es lo que han interpretado y transmitido.
En la siguiente entrada, se publicarán algunos de los trabajos que han elaborado.

NOTICIAS DEPORTIVAS

Durante esta semana hemos estado trabajando con nuestros chicos de grado 3, las noticias deportivas. Hemos conocido sobre los diferentes deportes que se practican en el Perú y en el mundo. Lo más importante fue valorar a los deportistas y tratar de imitarlos, persiguiendo con esfuerzo y dedicación nuestras metas.
Dentro de 8 días se inicia el mundial de fútbol, por tal motivo hemos querido conocer un poquito más de los países que participan y hemos investigado uno o dos lugares turísticos.En clase elaboraremos la banderita del país escogido ya que preferimos hacerlas con nuestros compañeros.

Cada semana tenemos un período de tiempo para mostrar a los compañeros, nuestras creaciones de cuentos realizadas el primer bimestre.La idea saliò durante las presentaciones de los trabajos en las clases, por lo que cada viernes nos ubicamos en un espacio del salòn a escuchar un Cuentacuentos de todos los que formamos parte de grado 3.

APRENDEMOS DE LAS FÁBULAS

Iniciamos el segundo bimestre, con un nuevo texto narrativo: "Las fábulas" ¡Cómo nos enseñan! Escuchaba decir a los alumnos de grado 3. Observamos un video sobre la fábula de la cigarra y la hormiga, la representamos en clase y aprendimos la lección de prevenir antes que lamentar.
También hemos investigado sobre ese gran fabulista griego llamado Esopo.

We start every week in our English class reading an interesting story, but first we learn about the new vocabulary so we read about each word to know its meaning and then we play with the words to know how to write them. It is fun!

Buildings Around The World

We started an investigation about important buildings in the world. First we went to the computing lab to look for information. Then the students continued reading about the topic at home and also looking for pictures.
Children brought all that information to class and they shared it with their friends. They read all about the building investigated and got one main idea to write it in a poster. They added the pictures and presented the poster orally in front of the class.
They learnt about the Empire State, the Petronas Towers, the Tower of Pisa, the Sears Tower, and the Big Ben.

Nuestros niños tuvieron una excelente experiencia en la Universidad Agraria de La Molina, donde conocieron diferentes plantas, araron la tierra, colocaron una plantita en una maceta, hicieron una trabajo artístico con un zapallo loche y disfrutaron de una agradeable mañana en otro ambiente diferente al colegio.
Las fotos demuestran su gusto por la naturaleza.

First Study Visit

Our first study visit was to Universidad Agraria de la Molina. The objective of this tour was to learn about how we can take care of plants, their differences and similarities and the use that we can give to them.
First, the students talked about some vegetables and observed their characteristics. They decorated a pumpkin with those vegetables. This was an amazing experience for them, they showed lot of creativity.
Then, they listented about aromatic plants and they chose one to plant it in a pot. They enjoyed the activity.
Finally they prepared the soil to plant seeds and water the ground.
Everything was well organized, fun, and useful for the kids.

This time the children made an experiment in which they used simple materials such as celery,flowers,water and food coloring .After this, they observed how stems work and how leaves changed their colours.VEry nice work kids!

Investigando la historia familiar

En grado 3, los niños han investigado acerca de su historia familiar, elaborando sus árboles genealógicos. Hemos visto que todos tenemos familias diferentes y no por eso son menos importantes unas que otras. Voluntariamente, unos niños quisieron exponer su árbol genealógico, así conocimos un poco más de ellos y sus anécdotas familiares.
Muchas gracias por el apoyo brindado en casa, con la elaboración de sus árboles.

Trabajos terminados

Después de mucho trabajo y coordinación en cada grupo, los niños terminaron sus obras de arte, con alusión a algo especial en nuestro planeta Tierra. Para hacer el trabajo se pusieron de acuerdo y respetaron cómo se usa el pincel para pintar con las témperas.
Cada día, los niños de grado 3, mejoran sus trabajos en grupo.

Los niños de grado 3, han estado trabajando diferentes técnicas artísticas, como el puntillismo, dibujo, témperas con pinceles y dactilografía. Ellos han aprendido que el arte es plasmar lo que sienten y piensan, por ello no se puede calificar el arte por estética (belleza) hay que ir más allá, a la intención del artista. Sin embargo, sin orden y organización no se podría lograr ningún objetivo, y eso es lo que desarrollan estos niños en las clases de arte.

Semana de adaptación

En los días de adaptación, los niños de grado 3 estuvieron realizando diferentes actividades como trabajos acerca de su mascota, para concerla más, investigando en sus casas y en el laboratorio de cómputo. Además estuvieron reflexionando acerca de sí mismos, escribiendo sobre ellos y dibujándose. Conocieron su nuevo horario, escribiéndolo en el journal, el cual decoraron con un dibujo de su mascota. Se divirtieron y adaptaron a un nuevo horario, conociéndose ellos mismos como un grupo, formando nuevas amistades y reforzando las ya conocidas.
